Hi, I'm Cherry.
I'm a twenty-year old Asian-American girl, going into her third and last year of university. I currently study Biology, with the goal of getting into Graduate School. Those are the most defining parts of my life right now.
But who am I, outside of school? That's a question I've been asking myself lately.
I like to read books, specifically fantasy books with romance in them. Not pure fantasy or pure romance—but fantasy with romance. Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places to be, although I've built a poor habit of buying books without reading them. One of my goals this year is to start consistently reading books again.
I also like to make art, specifically drawing, crocheting, sewing, and working with clay. Although I consider these to be my hobbies, I also don't practice them consistently, so I'm pretty much a beginner in each. Another one of my goals is to start doing these consistently.
I really love anime, with my favorite one being Fairy Tail. I also really love Fruits Basket, Skip to Loafer, Horimiya, and Blue Spring Ride. I love shoujo and fantasy anime, and I've recently come to realize that I really enjoy shōnen anime, too.
Music was a defining value in my life for a long time, but I don't make it my personality anymore. I used to really love heavy music, but these days I opt for softer music. Although my love for Shoegaze is still stranding strong (Slowdive, you'll always be famous).
And finally, I'm taken by the most amazing boyfriend in the world, who I will lovingly refer to as Star on this blog.
These days I focus more on school than I do on myself, so I don't have much more to say. I'm hoping to do more with my website once I have the time to do so, but for now, I'm trying to keep it simple. You're welcome to stick around, and enjoy the journey with me (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑)
